The Board of Trustees is pleased to update the LRCSS is moving forward. This letter addresses the selection, announcement, and some background information on our newest member to the LRCSS Administration.
The selection committee, with representation from the Pastors, Parents, Teachers, Parishioners, Sisters of Charity, and the Board of Trustees, is extremely pleased to report the new hire of Ms Evelyn "Evie" Porter as Principal Xavier Elementary School .
A bit of background about Ms Porter from her selection process:

o 4 years at Holy Trinity in Lenexa
o 10 years at St Paul in Olathe
o 1 year at Ascension in Overland Park

- On a more personal note, Ms. Porter related to the selection committee, she glorifies God in all things! She believes His glory encompasses every aspect of our lives; our faith, home, work and play. Her goal as a Catholic educator and leader is to guide students, parents, staff and all we come in contact with into a deeper union with Jesus, so that we all may glorify Him in time and eternity for the greater glory of the Most Holy Trinity, first and foremost.
Ms. Porter is a wonderful and welcomed addition to our LRCSS family.
Parents are currently planning a social event to meet and welcome Ms. Evie Porter on May 20th 2013. Information will be available from the organizers.
We continue to place our trust in the Lord and in each of you, our dedicated community, to carry the positive message of our school system to the larger Leavenworth County community. We pray the Lord continues to bestow his favor this Catholic Community.
