Faith Values In Our Catholic Schools

Catholic values taught in our schools come from the teachings of Jesus Christ.

  • God is at the center of our lives.  We believe in a personal, loving God revealed through creation, human conscience, and direct action in our lives.
  • Revere the sacred.  True wisdom involves a sense of reverence for the things of God, even more than preparing for life's realities.
  • Keep holy the Lord's Day.  Fill Sunday with prayer, workship, and enriching activities for individuals, families, and communities.
  • Parents and families.  Family is the first unit of church and society.  Help families to remain spiritually vital and materially secure.
  • Human dignity.  Treat every person as a unique and gifted person, regardless of race, religion, or economic or social circumstance.
  • Sacredness of human sexuality.  God created human sexuality to unite man and woman in a sanctified married love and to bring forth new life in the stability and harmony of family life.
  • Stewardship.  God has made us stewards of the earth and its fullness.  That is why we respect the material work that God has entrusted to us, and others' property.
  • Tell the truth.  Be charitable and respectful of others' privacy.
  • Purity of heart.  We involve ourselves in honest, simplicity, and a genuine desire to do what is right and good.
  • Treat others with dignity and respect at all times. Seek first the kingdom of God.  Turn attention to the things of the spirit.
