NFL Play-a-long


Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year!

It is time to kick off the Annual NFL Play Along Fundraiser!  The NFL Fundraiser is very important to our school system. Last year our schools raised more than $60,000 in revenue that supported our general operating budget. The NFL tickets are easy to sell. We hope by getting the tickets to you in advance, you can begin offering them to family members, friends, neighbors, etc. near and far. Participants do not have to live locally in order to participate.

This fundraiser has the potential of grossing over $99,000 if we sell all of the tickets. That is our targeted goal this year, to sell ALL of our tickets! Even after prizes are paid out, we will net $80,500!  We will offer the same sales incentives that we offered last year.  These sales are important to the success of our school system, and you play an important role in helping us reach our goal.  PLEASE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO SELL AS MANY TICKETS AS YOU CAN!  THANK YOU!

“How does Play Along work?”  A $20 donation buys a single Play Along ticket good for the 17 weeks of the regular NFL season.  Each ticket is unique with three different teams every week whose scores are added to determine a winner.  We guarantee weekly prizes totaling $1100.  The four highest combined scores win $500, $250, $100, and $50 and the 3 lowest combined scores win $100, $75, and $25.  Winners are determined, announced, and payments mailed on Wednesday of each respective NFL week. 

Each Xavier K-8 family is required to sell 11 tickets, Xavier Preschool Families are required to sell 6 tickets (and will be billed for any tickets not sold) so why not buy or sell the tickets and have a chance to win? We are issuing 15 tickets to all families to encourage greater sales.  Remember the more you sell, the greater your incentive could be.  It is important that the tickets not be destroyed and that any unsold tickets be returned to the Administration Office or Xavier.  In order to be eligible for participation in Week 1 of the NFL season, tickets must be turned in to the Xavier by Friday, September 1, 2017.  Tickets turned in after this date will be eligible for participation in the following NFL week.  NFL weeks run from Tuesday to Monday.  The longer you wait the fewer chances you have.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity to have the chance to win cash and support our school system.  Remember to print legibly on the tickets and fill out the “Sold by” portion so your family gets credit for the sales.

*If no tuition or fees are owed, it will be a cash award.  You do not need to be a family with a student in the school system to participate in this benefit, friends of LRCSS can participate as well and will receive cash awards. 


•Additional NFL tickets are available at Xavier Catholic School, 541 Muncie.  Additional tickets will be distributed in increments as requested up to 50 at one time, and registered in your family name.  


•Tickets sold are due no later than September 1st to be eligible for the Play- a-long incentives and the entire season. However, NFL ticket sales can continue past September 1st.  All tickets purchased and submitted after September 1st will only be eligible to produce winnings from the date that they are submitted, through the remainder of the NFL regular season.  Tickets need to be turned in by Wednesday to be eligible for that week’s games. 




All LRCSS K-8 families are charged a $220. fundraising fee. Xavier preschool families are charged a $120. fundraising fee. This is not optional. These tickets are offered to you to sell so the REQUIRED fee does not have to come out of your pocket. However, if you prefer to just pay the fee, please return your tickets along with your check.
