Xavier Catholic School offers the opportunity to be a member in our school band beginning in the 5th grade. Students perform in the Xavier Christmas Concert and Spring Concert.

On Thursday, October 29th, the Xavier 6th, 7th and 8th graders along with the 9th graders from Immaculata High School performed "Tracks, Rails and Ties" at the grand re-opening of the Riverfront Community Center after renovations. The song performed was written by our band director, Warren Sickel and his son, Jason Sickel in honor of his father and the old train station which is now the Riverfront Community Center! Special thanks to the City of Leavenworth for allowing us the honor of playing!

Green Team

Green Team is an after-school learning-garden program for 3rd-6th grade students. Students meet during science class. There are currently three Master Gardeners volunteering their time with the Green Team.  Students and adult leaders work together in the garden on the school grounds planting, watering, weeding, mulching and harvesting crops. Green Team members taste their produce, too! Sometimes there are other garden activities they engage in, like observing insects' and butterflies' life cycles. Come join us!

The Xavier Green Team is led by Mandy Mroszczak, who is the science and physical education teacher at Xavier.
